Vancouver Island University is a special purpose teaching institution with a focus on accessible education. VIU offers over 120 different programs ranging from trades programs to academic programs including certificate, diplomas, bachelors and masters degrees. With an average class size of 32 students, VIU embraces building relationships though education, giving students the small university experience with the opportunities provided at many larger institutions.
